About Me

Hi, I am Marj Wilkie. I am a Certified Addictions Counsellor and Life Coach. I have spent the last few years working in a Residential Treatment Centre. I have worked as Addiction Support, Case Manager, and Addiction Counsellor. I now hold the position of Substance Abuse Counsellor at our local hospital, in our Mental Health and Addictions program at the Alliance Centre.

I have worked in Specialized housing programs specific to Mental Health such as Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar, Borderline Personality Disorder, and severe Anxiety and Depression disorders.​

My true passion is helping individuals navigate addiction and recovery. Being able to witness and be a part of such a transformation is a privilege that I truly cherish.

In order to support my clients to the best of my ability I continue to work on my own personal

self-growth and education.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, I love to read and paint, I enjoy,

I love taking my dog on hikes, I have a special connection with horses, and I love being anywhere near the water. I have been married for 21 years, I am a mom to two adult sons, an adult step daughter, and I was a foster parent for 13 years with the Children's Aid Society of Nipissing and Parry Sound.
